Yihaa! We are excited to introduce our new colleague to you. Meet Robin. Robin joined us on January 2nd, 2020 as part of our Customer Success team. He's already familiar to many of us here at vPlan.

Robin

Allow me to provide a brief introduction to help you get to know Robin better:

What does your typical morning routine look like?

When the alarm goes off at 6:30, I immediately brew a cup of coffee. After enjoying my coffee, I start getting ready for work at a relaxed pace. By the time I have to leave, I give my son and wife a kiss (whether they're awake or not), pack a few sandwiches for the day, and head off to work! It's about an hour drive, during which I like to listen to NPO Radio1 or podcasts. I arrive at the office around 8:30, full of energy.

And what will you do tonight after your first day at work?

First, I'll take some time to unwind, letting everything sink in during the drive home. After dinner, I'll spend some time playing my bass guitar, and tonight I'll definitely crack open a special beer that I've been saving.

Why did you choose vPlan?

I've been following vPlan for a while now. Coming from an IT background, I'm impressed by the company's innovative approach and the technologies they use to make the application and related apps fast and user-friendly. It's a great team with fantastic clients. Who wouldn't want to work here?!

Are you excited about this new challenge?

Absolutely! I can't wait to start in my role in customer success and help our first customers successfully integrate with vPlan. In my previous job, I often dealt with large corporate clients. The SME sector is more dynamic and fast-paced, which I find to be an exciting challenge.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Lately, I've been practicing a lot on my bass guitar. Occasionally, I'll play some games on the PlayStation. Motorcycling is a big passion of mine (or tinkering, when my father and I come up with a new project). And of course, spending quality time with my family.

Any quirky hobbies or traits?

I can't think of any hobby or trait that you could call "quirky." Perhaps I'm just pretty ordinary.
