Although we haven't yet overcome the coronavirus this year, we reflect positively on 2021. We've welcomed a substantial number of new customers and partners. We've significantly enhanced our product with exciting features and additionally strengthened our team. In this article, we look back on the past year.

Ons product is afgelopen jaar verschillende functionaliteiten rijker geworden. Mede hierdoor hebben we ook bedrijven in nieuwe branches kunnen helpen met het oplossen van planningsproblemen. Het is wat veel om bij alle ontwikkelingen stil te staan. Vandaar we hieronder een opsomming doen van de hoogtepunten.

Easily customize the cover of a card by adding an image or color. This makes your planning visual.

You can now quickly export your vPlan schedule to a CSV document with the desired data, for example, for a supplier.
🤝 Integrate +2000 apps using Zapier
vPlan is now available on the Zapier platform! Through Zapier, vPlan can connect with over 2,000 other apps, including Slack, Mailchimp, and Gmail.

Our Customers
New functionalities attract new customers and markets. In 2021, we welcomed many new clients. Below, you'll find a selection of some new collaborations we entered into:
Brandwise
Brandwise connects brands, consumers, and retailers through various activations. They do this for companies like Jumbo and Hoogvliet. Brandwise used Excel, which sometimes led to a lack of overview. With vPlan, they now have visibility into ongoing projects, providing clients insight into progress.
Architectenbureau Leysen
Due to an increasing number of projects, Architectenbureau Leysen needed a tool to monitor long-term vision. The Belgian firm uses vPlan to plan large projects.
Bebo Vloeren
Bebo Vloeren manufactures flooring in its own factory, sources flooring from across Europe, and provides flooring installation services. Previously, Bebo Vloeren scheduled using an online agenda and paper work orders, which was time-consuming. Now that Bebo Vloeren uses vPlan for their scheduling, they have better overview and communication.
Isolatiehandel van den Berg
Previously, Isolatiehandel Van den Berg scheduled using paper work orders, which was time-consuming and lacked overview. Now that Isolatiehandel Van den Berg uses vPlan, they have their schedule at hand and have digitalized their processes.
Reflection: Our organization
Due to our growth and ambition, the year was marked by recruiting new personnel. In February, we welcomed two new colleagues, Inge and Marijke. Inge strengthens our sales team and has made an immediate impact. Inge quickly felt at home and also managed to secure some great deals. Marijke joined our marketing department. She provides daily leadership to the marketing team and has structured and professionalized our marketing department in a short time.
In February, Melvyn also began his internship in our marketing department. Melvyn established our reward program and focused on our SEO strategy. It was a very successful internship with an excellent grade.
In March, we were pleased to welcome Mark Spit. This Formula 1 enthusiast focused on our new vPlan app. The revamped iOS and Android app went live at the end of this year.
In early August, Romy joined our team. This experienced consultant helps our customers optimize their use of vPlan. Additionally, Romy is working on optimizing our integration partner management.
In September, we welcomed three interns: Luuk, Pjotr, and Lieuwe. Luuk is studying for his MBO diploma in Web & App Development and is working on our partner portal. Pjotr is studying for his HBO diploma in Communication and is gaining a lot of experience in our marketing department. He has created several animations, including our app introduction. Lieuwe supported our sales and marketing department. In this internship, he performed a variety of tasks, including writing use cases, updating our CRM, and following up on leads.
Also in September, Ruben began his graduation assignment at vPlan. Ruben is studying for his HBO diploma in ICT. For his graduation assignment, he is developing a digital certificate vault. This will allow us to easily manage all our certificates and receive timely notifications when certificates expire.
Overall, we have a fantastic team that achieves great results. Hard work and lots of fun! This was evident in October when the team spent a week in Crete. It was a very enjoyable and sociable time, with programming by the pool and meetings with a beer not being unusual.
What does 2022 hold✨
In 2022, we will continue to elevate vPlan with exciting and smart developments. Soon, we will launch several new features. We're helping to streamline the logistics planning process by providing insight with route planning in map view. A new "Extended Text" field will also become available, and you'll be able to easily and quickly create cards from the timeline. Additionally, we'll continue to further develop the vPlan Go App.
Furthermore, we are still on the lookout for reinforcements. We want to get even more out of marketing. For that, we need more marketing power. There's also still room for an intern starting in February. Check out our vacancies quickly.
Lastly, like the rest of the Netherlands, we hope that the corona measures are no longer necessary. Not so much for our business, but more for the well-being of our employees. There's nothing better than relaxing after a busy workweek. Having a nice dinner with friends, going to the cinema, sweating it out in the sauna, or playing football in the lower regions of amateur football.
