The shift to remote work also affected our operations. We expanded our office with 14 new 'home offices'. As online work was already ingrained in our culture, this transition was seamless. Zooming had already become a common practice at vPlan. However, what we missed the most was the direct personal contact, both internally and with our customers and partners.
Despite the challenges, we can look back positively on 2020. We welcomed a significant number of new customers and partners. Our product saw substantial expansion with exciting functionalities, and we were able to strengthen our team. In this article, we reflect on the past year.
Reflection: Our product
Our product gained a multitude of new functionalities last year. Here are some highlights:

With these new fields, you can easily perform calculations between custom fields, whether numerical, date, or text fields.

π Maps view
Easily visualize filled addresses of cards on a map, providing a clear overview of destinations.
Reflection: Our customers
In 2020, we welcomed many new customers. Here are some notable collaborations:

B DUTCH
Ensured visibility of planning on all fronts for all employees using vPlan.
Mondial Pack
Reduced lead times and improved internal communication by transitioning from manual order entry to vPlan.
Anylabel
Achieved overview and insight into the workplace planning by replacing printed order sheets with vPlan.
Reflection: Organization
Last year was also marked by growth. In addition to customer growth and product development, we strengthened our team in 2020. We welcomed Robin, Nick, Elsa, and Carmen at the beginning of the year, followed by Niek, Anne, and Yvonne later on. Despite the unusual circumstances, they all made an immediate impact and adapted quickly.
Due to the expansion of our team and anticipated growth, we significantly expanded our office at the beginning of 2020. One of the highlights was the addition of our bar, although unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we haven't fully enjoyed it yet.
An important milestone was the purchase of our .com domain, reflecting our international ambitions. We're ready for the next steps.
In February, we had our annual winter sports trip, which turned out to be the last foreign trip for many in 2020. Unfortunately, vPlan won't be hitting the slopes in early 2021, but we'll find a suitable alternative once conditions allow.
What does 2021 hold for us β¨
Hopefully, in 2021, we'll be able to greet you in person rather than through Zoom meetings. We're not resting on our laurels; we aim to continue our growth.
Therefore, we're delighted to welcome Inge, Marijke, and Melvyn in early 2021. We'll introduce them to you one by one shortly. Additionally, we'll be adding fantastic new functionalities to vPlan, including Dashboard, Checklist, and Agenda. In early 2021, we'll also be available on the Zapier platform. Of course, we're always eager to hear the wishes and feedback of our customers. Let's make great strides together in 2021.
Once again, thank you!
On behalf of our team, we want to thank you all for this remarkable year. We're proud to have you on this journey with us. Thank you for your feedback and positive messages. Without your critical eye, we wouldn't be where we are now. We look forward to continuing to make great strides together. Wishing you a wonderful end of the year. Hopefully, we'll see each other soon in 2021 and can shake hands.
