Keyboard shortcuts in the calendar view
For each view, there are keyboard shortcuts you can use. Here's a list of them in the calendar view:
- V: Go back to today;
- D: Go to the day period;
- W: Go to the week period;
- M: Go to the month period;
- B: Open the backlog;
- C: Show or hide capacity;
- R: Show or hide resources;
- F: Open or close the filter;
- ESC: Close everything. This closes the backlog and deselects any selected collection;
- ⬅️ Left arrow: go back one period;
- ➡️ Right arrow: go forward one period.
Keyboard shortcuts for the list view
In the list view, you can use the following key combinations:
- V: Go back to today;
- D: Go to the day period;
- W: Go to the week period;
- M: Go to the month period;
- B: Open the backlog;
- F: Open or close the filter;
- ESC: Close everything. This closes the backlog and deselects any selected collection;
- ⬅️ Left arrow: go back one period;
- ➡️ Right arrow: go forward one period.
So, in this view, you cannot show capacity or resources using a keyboard shortcut.
Key combinations in the timeline view
The timeline has a few different keyboard shortcuts in addition to the most standard keys:
- V: Go back to today;
- B: Open the backlog;
- C: Show or hide capacity;
- R: Show or hide resources;
- F: Open filter bar;
- L: Show or hide the left column element;
- M: Group timeline (this places all strips next to each other);
- ESC: Close everything. This closes the backlog and deselects any selected collection; ALT: Split strips. Hold down the ALT key and move your mouse over the strip. Click where you want to split the strip;
- ⬅️ Left arrow: move the timeline back in time;
- ➡️ Right arrow: move the timeline forward in time.
Keyboard shortcuts in Kanban view
The following shortcuts can be used in Kanban view:
- V: Go back to today;
- D: Go to the day period;
- W: Go to the week period;
- M: Go to the month period;
- B: Open the backlog;
- F: Open filter bar;
- ESC: Close everything. This closes the backlog and deselects any selected collection;
- ⬅️ Left arrow: go back one period;
- ➡️ Right arrow: go forward one period. In Kanban view, no period is selected by default. These shortcuts only work if you have selected a period in the filter options.
