Because it was clear from the old-fashioned planning board on the wall that there was still a challenge there. Fortunately, Xander Dekker, director at VoiceData, realised this himself. He tells more about their planning challenge and how we came up with a solution together. 

Printers, dymo labels and stickers   

"Planning used to be hugely old-fashioned," Xander explains. "All orders were printed from our ERP system, Intelly. The printers were working overtime to produce all these paper orders. Then these orders were hung on a physical planning board with magnets. Updates on the orders were a time-consuming task and were added by hand using dime labels and stickers."

Printers are fired 

Xander takes us through the remarkable changes: "Those once busy printers in the office now hardly run at all. Thanks to vPlan, there is no need to print out every order and waste stickers and labels. This not only saves us precious time, but also tons of paper and litres of ink. And that's not all. We no longer need to walk to that physical planning board to consult the schedule. With a simple click, you open the vPlan app on your computer or phone, and there's your schedule, right in front of you! This way, our mechanics on the road know exactly where they need to be and what they need to do. They complete checklists and change statuses. So, we always know the status of an order in real time at the office too."
