He continues, "It was not efficient. Lots of manual specifications, lists in Excel, photos on a local server, meaningless order forms.... This was obviously very time-consuming. In addition, sales also often had to inquire about the status of an order, and we often had production meetings to discuss things if we had a rush, for instance." That could and should be done differently, Yerney thought. And fortunately, it did!   

Seamless connection with Exact Online  

Yerney tells us about the first contact with vPlan and the decision-making process: "During our search for an ERP system, we came across vPlan. The seamless cooperation between vPlan and Exact Online excited us immediately. For us, the fact that all data from Exact Online is synchronised with vPlan in no time is a real godsend. This gives us a visual planning with a lot of flexibility, because moving orders around is so easy, among other things. The vPlan App was also a decisive component. It allowed production staff to say goodbye to paper on the shop floor. A great development."

Yerney goes on to talk about vPlan's service and support: "We were missing some functionalities that are important to us. Fortunately, the flexibility and service from vPlan is outstanding and they thought along with us right away. Together, we looked at the ultimate process for us within vPlan. The desired process was then implemented within vPlan at short notice."   

Yerney is very pleased with the quick optimisation, but also with the continuous updates to vPlan. "It's cool to see new developments every time. The app is regularly updated with interesting functionalities that create new possibilities within our process."

Tablets with vPlan on the shop floor  

"Since the beginning of 2021, we have said goodbye to paper on the shop floor. Everyone in production has their own tablet with the vPlan mobile app. Sales orders planned from Exact Online are now also digitally provided with all the necessary production documents. Staff can easily open these documents. This is ideal! It saves a lot of printing, which is of course a lot better for the environment. And our wallet," Yerney winks.    

What does Moton think of vPlan's service?
