Paper work orders and Excel
We speak to Jan Durk Canrinus, planner and stock manager at Insulation Trade Van den Berg: "Our planning used to be kept via work orders (on paper). These were classified 'manually' with paper to then keep track of it in an Excel list."
Digitisation
"At Insulation Trade Van der Berg, digitisation is a major issue. They use KING as an ERP to digitise their work orders. The company was ready for the next step in the digitisation process: digital planning. Through Wilfred van der Lee of integration partner MCC, we came into contact with vPlan.
"The fact that we can still adjust planned work orders (tickets) anytime, anywhere was a real godsend for us."
Time savings
"We have been working with vPlan for some time now. We have completely set up our transport planning on it and it works to our complete satisfaction. Because vPlan works so well for us, we are currently in the process of putting our production planning into vPlan as well. The visual overview we have is clear and well-organised. Nothing gets forgotten anymore. It saves us time every day. It's difficult to express this in figures, but the overview allows you to switch gears earlier, increasing your capacities and automatically allowing you to do more."
Our experience
"The experience with vPlan and their support is excellent. Through the trainings and implementations we have had with the vPlan team, we have quickly become familiar with the programme. We would obviously recommend vPlan to other companies." Concludes Jan Durk.
