The Belgian company Anyway Doors is the reference in the designer door sector. The family company, founded in 1995, studies all aspects related to the 'interior door' concept. The name 'Anyway Doors' therefore refers to the first door they introduced on the Belgian market: a door that opens on both sides without floor mounting. Since then, more than 75,000 doors have found their way to customers who value quality and minimalist design.

From paperwork and Excel to vPlan

Anyway Doors used to plan in Excel, but at a certain point this was no longer feasible. Sabrina, who has worked at Anyway Doors for 13 years and is head of planning, says the following: "All teams were managed with printouts of the Excel planning. When there were changes in the planning, and we forgot to print it out, not everyone had the correct work schedule. Now that we plan in vPlan, this is a lot easier and our mechanics and technicians always have the correct schedule to hand and insight into changes."

User-friendly and no manual work

"We tested several planning tools, but vPlan came out of the test as the most user-friendly. Everything is clear with our planning in vPlan!", says Sabrina.

Anyway Doors started using vPlan step by step. First a planning board for measurements, then soon followed a planning board for other work. By means of an integration with their ERP system SDP, data from SDP appear in vPlan and vice versa. This saves Anyway Doors a lot of manual work.

Improved communication with the vPlan Go app

Besides the desktop version of vPlan, Anyway Doors makes a lot of use of the vPlan Go app. With the app, you also always have your planning to hand on location and easily make changes. About this, Sabrina says the following: "For Anyway Doors, the app is a great improvement because employees are on the road a lot and provide service on location. The communication between different files is now more structured and everyone has the same information to hand. In the beginning, it took some getting used to working with vPlan on the shop floor. By now, everyone trusts vPlan and processes run much more smoothly."

Sabrina continues, "Communication within our company has improved by using vPlan. Everything is in the app and as soon as something changes, you are notified. In addition, processing files is now a lot more efficient."

Time-saving and good support

"Thanks to vPlan, we save a whole working day a week. I can now fully concentrate on planning and following up returns. If we have any questions, vPlan's support is always available and we get quick and clear answers. This makes vPlan very user-friendly. I would definitely recommend other companies to try vPlan for the time savings and convenience it offers," Sabrina concludes.

Thank you for your time, Sabrina!
