The Role of an HR Employee
The task package within human resources is broad and diverse. From drafting employment contracts to managing recruitment procedures. But it doesn't stop at personnel management; an HR employee also contributes to business goals. For example, in monitoring the culture within an organization or in developing an image for the organization with the aim of retaining and attracting employees (employer branding).
Digitalise Your HRM Processes and Protocols
Many tasks within HR follow prescribed processes and protocols. Managing and following up on these can sometimes pose challenges. That's why it's helpful to have a tool that supports this. vPlan assists you in managing your HR processes, such as recruitment and selection, onboarding, and other personnel management tasks. Within vPlan, you can create a board for each process. To inspire you, we'll provide some examples.
Insight into your recruitment and selection process
As HR, you are responsible for recruiting and selecting new candidates. You write a good job description and post it online. You use an online form so candidates can apply. Connect an online form, such as Google Form or Typeform, to your board in vPlan using Zapier. New candidates are automatically added as cards on the board. The card contains all the necessary information, and you can add additional details yourself, such as attaching a resume. Decide which fields you want to capture with our custom fields feature.
The Kanban view in vPlan is an ideal way to visualize your selection process in different stages. A new application starts in the first stage "New Applicant." Then, you move the candidate through the various stages. This way, you know exactly where candidates are and what still needs to be done. The goal is to onboard the right candidate!
In the list view, you can see where your potential new colleagues are coming from. This way, you can find out who lives close to your location and who might have to travel farther.
Control over your onboarding process
The first day at work is always exciting. The new colleague gets to know your company and has a lot of information to absorb. You want to welcome and train the new colleague effectively. Therefore, it's important to have a well-prepared onboarding process in place.
Automated onboarding ensures consistency
By using an automated onboarding process, you consistently deliver the same high-quality onboarding experience. Additionally, you don't have to repeatedly figure out the steps the new colleague needs to go through. Set up an automatic onboarding process in vPlan and ensure your colleagues receive the warm welcome they deserve.
