Who are you?

"I am Quentin Correia. Born and raised in Rijssen! I have been living in Hengelo, Overijssel, since I was twelve. My last name is from Portugal, but unfortunately, I don't speak Portuguese."

What did you do before joining vPlan?

"I studied ICT Software Engineering at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede and worked at Cirqll during my studies. Cirqll is a startup that provides a CRM system as a SaaS product. It's a very small team, but the atmosphere is similar to that of vPlan, friendly yet serious."

What do you find most challenging about your new job?

"The train times from Hengelo to Rijssen..." 🚆

What do you like to do in your free time?

"Watch bad movies, go out, read, and program."

If you've had a really bad night's sleep, what can your new colleagues do better/not do?

"Preferably not use up all the coffee beans."

What did you want to be when you were little?

"I've always wanted to be an inventor! This has partly come true because programming is also a kind of inventing programs. ? When I was even younger, I wanted to be a dinosaur! 🦖"

What is your biggest dream?

"An isolated cottage in a warm country, with a large garden. Maybe a few cats roaming around freely and saying hello sometimes. I don't really have a dream about what I want to do for work, but I hope that will slowly come to me."

What was your most enjoyable vacation?

"I spent a month in China, where I got to see many of the must-see sights, including: the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army, Tiananmen Square, the Avatar Mountains, and the Forbidden City. It was all incredibly beautiful! Additionally, I can speak a bit of Chinese because I did a minor in it, so that made it extra interesting!"
